Interactive meeting: Sexual violence towards children
The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) will organize an interactive meeting on sexual violence against children on Tuesday 11 April 2023, at 10:30 am, at the CNDH headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.
This meeting aims to address and deepen the discussion on the sexual violence against children phenomenon. It also intends to develop practical proposals to enhance the compatibility of the national protection system with the international normative framework and relevant protection mechanisms.
Participants will study this issue and focus on several points: Moroccan society's representation of sexual violence against children, the Psychological impact of sexual violence on children, Legal protection and judicial action, Civil society and the protection of children from sexual violence, and the role of the child within the national protective system.
Ms. Amina Bouayach will chair this meeting.
Researchers, academics and civil society representatives will participate in this event.
