Mr. Mahjoub El Hiba

Mr. Mahjoub El Hiba was the Inter-Ministerial Delegate of Human Rights and former member of the Committee on Human Rights.

Mr. El Hiba was the Secretary-General of the Advisory Human Rights Council (CCDH) from 2005 to 2011.
He was also a member of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission and a member of the CCDH.

Mr. El Hiba, holder of a Ph.D. (doctorat d’Etat) in political sciences, was the Assistant Dean of the Casablanca Faculty of Law from 1997 to 2000.
He is a national and international consultant in environmental law, human rights, and information and communication international law. He is also a founding member of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH).
Mr. El Hiba, who is a member and vice president of the Centre for Studies and Research in Migrations and Human Rights (CERMEDH), is a founding member of the Réseau marocain du droit humanitaire international (Moroccan network for international humanitarian law) and member of the Association Marocaine des sciences de la Mer (Moroccan association for marine sciences).
