Mr. Mohamed Amarti, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of the Oriental Region

Mr. Mohamed Amarti, Chairperson of the CNDH’s Regional Commission of the Oriental Region, was born in 1957 in Oujda, Morocco. He holds a PhD in Law at Université Mohamed V in Rabat, and works as a Professor of higher education at the Faculty of Juridical, Economic and Social Sciences at the University Mohammed Premier Oujda.

Mr. Amarti is Director of the Laboratory for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. He is also a member of the National Council of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH) and the Association marocaine de droit constitutionnel (Moroccan Association for Constitutional Law).
